What are lice?

Head lice are minute, greyish insects that live for about 30 days close to the hair roots and sometimes in the eyebrows and facial hair. These insects cannot jump or fly.

Head lice easily move from one head to another if there is contact between the hair (for example, when two people hug). It is also important to know that head lice can affect anyone: rich or poor.

Head lice have been around for a very long time and are not about to go away. Luckily, they are not dangerous, only annoying…
It is, however, possible to prevent the onset of head lice and also to treat it.
